Holiday Cookie Recipe – Chocolate Crinkles

Are you looking for that perfect little cookie recipe that will dazzle your friends at your New Year’s Eve party? Well, look no further. Sizzor Shak’s very own stylist & baker extraordinaire, Donna, has shared one of her favorite cookie recipes with us: Chocolate Crinkles!

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 sq. unsweetened chocolate (4oz.)
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
  • DIRECTIONS:
    Mix oil, chocolate, & granulated sugar. Blend in one egg at a time until well mixed.
    Add Vanilla.
    Stir flour, baking powder, & salt into oil mixture.
    Chill several hours or overnight.
    Shape dough into balls (about 1 tsp. size). Then roll in confectioners sugar.
    Preheat oven at 350 degrees.
    Bake 10-12 minutes, or until almost no imprint remains when touched lightly in center.
    Makes 6 dozen cookies.
